What I love most about photography is capturing real emotion and genuine connection. The moments that matter most are usually the ones you don’t plan for — the tears during the ceremony, the nervous excitement before walking down the aisle, the huge laughs with friends or the quiet moments together in the middle of it all. I’m definitely someone who feels those moments too, and there’s a good chance you’ll spot a tear or two in my eyes during an emotional ceremony.

I met my wife, Siobhán, while living in New York in 2011. We spent a couple of years travelling back and forth between Ireland and the US, before making
the permanent move to sunny Dublin — and even sunnier Wicklow — where we now live by the sea with our two daughters. We love the outdoors, long walks by the coast, sea swimming and hiking together as a family. Our daughters both love being part of the local athletics club and Siobhan and I proudly tag along to cheer on the girls at all of their races. Coffee is an essential part of daily life in our house, and outside of photography, my other passions are cooking and calisthenics. We also love to travel whenever we can. We spent a month exploring Thailand in early 2026 and completely fell in love with it — the food, the people, the atmosphere — and we’re already planning more adventures and countries to explore together.
